POSITION SUMMARY

The Rare Beauty Senior Director of Brand and Product Marketing will lead the strategic vision and execution of our brand and product marketing initiatives. This role will be responsible for developing and driving innovative, consumer-centric marketing strategies that amplify our brand identity, strengthen product storytelling, and drive business growth. The ideal candidate is a creative and strategic leader with deep experience in beauty, a passion for building emotional connections with consumers, and a proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally to bring campaigns to life.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead the development and execution of holistic brand and product marketing strategies that align with Rare Beauty’s mission, values, and business goals.

  • Oversee end-to-end product launch strategy—from market analysis and positioning to messaging and go-to-market planning.

  • Partner cross-functionally with PD, Creative, Sales, Consumer Insights, PR, and Partnerships to build impactful, insight-driven launch strategies that drive awareness, trial, and loyalty.

  • Ensure flawless execution of brand and product launches, delivering cohesive storytelling, differentiated positioning, and on-time delivery across all channels.

  • Craft compelling product narratives and brand stories that resonate with a diverse, global consumer base.

  • Collaborate with Sales and Retail Marketing to create channel-specific strategies that elevate brand presence and drive conversion at key retail partners.

  • Oversee .com PDP strategy and execution, ensuring best-in-class assets and copy are delivered for each seasonal and limited-edition launch.

  • Shape Rare Beauty’s long-term innovation roadmap and product portfolio strategy, balancing trend awareness with brand relevance and consumer needs.

  • Manage and mentor a high-performing team across brand and product marketing, cultivating a collaborative, inclusive, and growth-oriented culture.

  • Partner with Finance and Ops to manage marketing budgets, forecasting, and resource allocation.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

START & END DATE: SEP 2025 - FEB 2026

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; MBA preferred

  • 10+ years of experience in brand and product marketing, with a strong background in the beauty industry.

  • Proven track record of leading successful product launches and brand campaigns that drive growth and engagement

  • Deep understanding of the beauty landscape, including trends, consumer behavior, and competitive insights.

  • Strong leadership and team management abilities, with experience mentoring and developing talent

  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to influence and inspire cross-functional partners

  • Analytical mindset with a data-driven approach to decision-making

  • LA-based

SALARY RANGE: $160-$180k
