Nodpod - Fractional CGO

Nodpod is a patented sleep mask brand loved by customers and trusted by premium retailers like Nordstrom, Barnes & Noble, Anthropologie and (soon) ULTA. They are at a pivotal growth stage and looking for a performance-minded, brand-sensitive Fractional Chief Growth Officer to help us unlock the next phase of scale, from $10M to $ 100M.

They are starting with a 4- to 6-week engagement focused on auditing their current growth ecosystem and delivering a clear, actionable roadmap. If it’s a great mutual fit, this could evolve into an ongoing fractional leadership role.

What You’ll Do (Phase 1: Audit & Roadmap)

    •    Conduct a full-funnel marketing audit: site experience, paid media, email/SMS flows, and repurchase behavior

    •    Evaluate growth metrics: CAC, AOV, LTV, repurchase rate, churn, and key customer segments

    •    Assess current tech stack: Shopify, Klaviyo, Meta Ads, etc.

    •    Identify low-lift wins and high-impact growth opportunities

    •    Build a 6–12 month roadmap with clear priorities and budget guidance

    •    Recommend tools, reporting infrastructure, or talent needs to scale growth efficiently

Ideal background

    •    Strategic and hands-on, comfortable shifting between 30,000 ft and the executional trenches

    •    7–10+ years in growth or performance marketing for premium DTC, lifestyle, or wellness brands

    •    Fluent in data but brand-aware, you understand emotional storytelling and beautiful product design

    •    Comfortable in fast-moving founder-led environments

    •    Experienced in brands scaling between $5M–$50M

    •    Bonus: You've worked in or around retail-aware DTC brands or patented/unique consumer products

Engagement Details

    •    Project Fee: $5,000–$8,000 for the initial roadmap engagement

    •    Timeline: 4–6 weeks

    •    Potential to Extend: If it’s a strong fit, we’re open to a longer-term fractional partnership
