Nodpod - Fractional COO
Nodpod is a patented sleep mask brand loved by customers and trusted by premium retailers like Nordstrom, Barnes & Noble, Anthropologie and (soon) ULTA. They are at a pivotal growth stage and looking for a performance-minded, brand-sensitive Fractional Chief Growth Officer to help us unlock the next phase of scale, from $10M to $ 100M.
They are looking for a Fractional COO to bring operational clarity, strategic oversight, and leadership experience to a profitable, high-potential wellness brand. Nodpod is at a pivotal growth stage—entering new national retail doors and exploring international markets. They need someone to stabilize and scale backend functions so the founder can focus on vision, product, and brand.
What You'll Do
• Audit and optimize systems for inventory, forecasting, logistics, and supply chain management.
• Develop scalable infrastructure and SOPs across ops, finance, and team communications.
• Manage vendor relationships (3PL, freight, manufacturing) for efficiency and margin protection.
• Support retail expansion readiness: ensuring we can fulfill major POs without overextending.
• Analyze gross margins, product costs, and COGS structure with a finance-forward lens.
• Work cross-functionally with marketing and sales to align inventory and promotional planning.
Ideal Background
• 10+ years in operations leadership at a consumer brand (ideally CPG, wellness, or DTC/retail hybrid).
• Deep experience in inventory forecasting, manufacturing, and margin optimization.
• Skilled in building structure for lean teams—knows how to do more with less.
• Strong communicator who can collaborate with creative teams and founder-led orgs.
Engagement Details
• Low end: $5,000 (light-touch, strategic audit)
• Mid-range: $5,500–$8,000 (audit + roadmap + key systems/workflow improvements)
• Potential to Extend: If it’s a strong fit, we’re open to a longer-term fractional partnership
