Motif Skincare, an early-stage brand in the beauty and wellness space, is seeking a Head of Marketing to lead and evolve its brand strategy during a period of high growth. This role is ideal for a senior marketing leader with proven experience scaling DTC brands and a hands-on approach to execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Refine and articulate Motif Skincare’s brand positioning in a highly competitive market.

  • Audit and revamp all key marketing channels, including:

    • Email & retention marketing

    • Website and digital experience

    • Social media strategy and content

    • Influencer and affiliate programs

  • Lead marketing strategy and execution for upcoming product launches.

  • Build and manage cross-functional workstreams, tapping into an existing network of specialized talent as needed.

  • Provide both strategic leadership and hands-on execution depending on the phase and project scope.

Ideal Candidate Has:

  • Experience leading marketing at early-stage consumer brands, particularly during high-growth phases.

  • A strong network of marketing freelancers and agency partners who can be brought in and managed efficiently.

  • Deep understanding of DTC growth tactics, especially in the beauty, health, and wellness sectors.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving startup environment.

  • Based in NYC or open to occasional in-person collaboration.

Start Date & Time Commitment:
ASAP; 10–20 hours per week.

Budget:
$10,000 – $15,000 per month

Special Requirements:
NYC-based preferred. Must have experience scaling DTC brands in the beauty, health, or wellness categories.
