About the Role

Levitate is seeking a strategic, hands-on Vice President of Marketing to lead the launch, growth, and optimization of emerging brands across its portfolio. This leader brings deep expertise in performance marketing, eCommerce acceleration, and full-funnel brand strategy — and is equally comfortable operating in fast-paced agency environments and brand-side roles.

As part of the executive leadership team, this person will partner closely with the founder, creative leadership, and cross-functional teams to shape and execute data-driven marketing and eCommerce strategies that drive awareness, acquisition, and revenue growth. They will also oversee Levitate’s eCommerce department, including conversion optimization, online sales performance, and digital experience initiatives across both owned brands and client partners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Brand Launch & Growth Strategy: Develop go-to-market plans for new brands, including positioning, messaging, customer segmentation, and launch campaigns.

  • Performance Marketing Leadership: Oversee paid media, lifecycle marketing, and conversion optimization to deliver measurable growth and strong ROI.

  • eCommerce Department Oversight: Lead and scale the eCommerce division, ensuring operational excellence across DTC and online retail channels.

  • Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO): Partner with creative, UX/UI, and data teams to optimize funnel performance and improve onsite conversion.

  • Client & Brand Management: Guide marketing strategy for eCommerce clients, ensuring best-in-class channel management, testing frameworks, and reporting.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Align marketing and eCommerce strategies with business objectives across creative, product, and data functions.

  • Team Leadership: Build, mentor, and inspire a high-performing marketing and eCommerce team; establish scalable processes and best practices.

  • Analytics & Insights: Define KPIs, manage budgets, and report on performance with a focus on efficiency and ROI.

  • Brand Stewardship: Ensure brand consistency across all digital touchpoints while balancing creative ambition with data-driven rigor.

  • Partnership & Agency Oversight: Manage external agencies and partners to ensure alignment with strategic priorities and performance expectations.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of progressive experience in growth, performance marketing, or eCommerce leadership, with a track record of scaling brands.

  • Background in marketing agencies and familiarity with fast-paced, client-facing environments.

  • Experience managing brand-side marketing and eCommerce operations (DTC preferred).

  • Expertise in paid social, paid search, email/lifecycle marketing, conversion optimization, and CRO.

  • Strong analytical skills with experience in attribution, budgeting, and forecasting.

  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with experience partnering at the executive level.

  • Ability to operate in a startup or high-growth environment — resourceful, adaptable, and hands-on.

COMPensation

  • 150k salary

  • Fractional would be 20 hours 5-6K
