Role Overview

The Fractional VP of Brand will lead Harper Wilde’s brand and creative strategy, ensuring a cohesive and powerful brand presence across all consumer touchpoints. This leader will partner with cross-functional teams to align marketing with business priorities, drive compelling creative execution, and oversee both in-house and external creative teams. The ideal candidate is a strong people manager with a proven creative background, capable of both high-level strategic visioning and hands-on execution.

Key Responsibilities

Brand & Marketing Strategy (40%)

  • Develop and deliver quarterly brand and creative strategy, including direction for seasonal campaigns and photoshoots.

  • Partner with the Growth team to create quarterly marketing strategies and briefs aligned with revenue goals and the product roadmap.

  • Drive integrated marketing planning, ensuring brand voice and vision are consistently represented.

Brand & Creative Execution (40%)

  • Oversee execution of creative development, reviewing and providing feedback across all assets.

  • Own campaign alignment, briefing, planning, and cross-functional communication, with support from the Project Manager.

  • Shape brand identity across digital, packaging, and physical touchpoints.

  • Lead content strategy across platforms, ensuring relevance, engagement, and growth.

  • Maintain and evolve the integrated marketing calendar.

Team Leadership & Management (20%)

  • Manage in-house creative team (design, copy, social), freelancers, and external partners.

  • Guide the creative process from concept to execution, balancing quality with speed.

  • Evolve and extend Harper Wilde’s brand aesthetic, maintaining consistency across all channels.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of brand leadership experience, ideally within consumer, lifestyle, fashion, or DTC brands.

  • Proven success developing brand strategies and leading creative execution across multiple channels.

  • Strong people management skills, with experience overseeing both in-house and external teams.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

  • Creative thinker who can balance strategic vision with hands-on execution.

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

Commitement & Compensation

  • Location: Remote with occasional onsite (LA, Quarterly Photoshoots)

  • Commitment: ~15 hours/week

  • Compensation: ~$15K/month

  • Reports To: CEO
